Calendar comprises various elements in the Calendar UI for selection and navigation purposes. The following image labels the elements that make up the Calendar UI:

The purpose and use of all the elements of the Calendar control is described below:

• Header: The header displays the view format. By default, Calendar displays month view.
• Navigation buttons: The Previous and Next navigation buttons are available in the header which allow you to go to the previous or the next months, years or decades, respectively.
• Today's Date: The current date.
