  Hello Wijmo Team,

  We are currently using the following setup in our enterprise Angular application:

  Angular 17
  
  Node.js 20.x (planning upgrade to Node.js 24.x)
  
  Wijmo version: @grapecity/wijmo.angular2.all: 5.20242.21

  We are evaluating our upgrade path and would like clarification on Wijmo compatibility.

  Could you please help with the following questions?

  Is Wijmo version 5.20242.21 officially supported with:

  Angular 18
  
  Angular 19
  
  Angular 20
  
  Angular 21

  If not, which Wijmo version should we upgrade to for Angular 20 and Angular 21 support?

  Are there any known breaking changes or migration considerations when upgrading from:

  Angular 17 → Angular 20
  
  Angular 17 → Angular 21 while using FlexGrid, CollectionView, DataMap, FlexChart, and other Wijmo Angular components?

  Does the latest Wijmo release fully support:

  Node.js 24.x
  
  TypeScript versions required by Angular 20/21
  
  Standalone Components
  
  Angular’s latest build system (esbuild/application builder)

  Is there any recommended migration path from our current setup:

  Angular 17
  
  Wijmo 5.20242.21

  to a supported combination for Angular 20/21?

  We would appreciate any compatibility matrix, documentation, or upgrade recommendations that can help us plan the migration.

  1. Is 5.20242.21 supported on Angular 18, 19, 20 and 21?

  Angular 19 support come with 2025 v1: https://developer.mescius.com/blogs/wijmo-2025-v1-has-landed

  Angular 20 came with 2025 v2: https://developer.mescius.com/blogs/wijmo-2025-v2-has-landed

  Angular 21 came with 2026 v1: https://developer.mescius.com/blogs/wijmo-2026-v1-has-landed

  2. Which Wijmo version for Angular 20 and 21?

  Use the latest build, 5.20262.60: https://developer.mescius.com/blogs/wijmo-2026-v2-has-landed

  Since build 5.20261.52, the minimum Angular version is 20.3.18, so the newest Wijmo can’t be used on Angular 17 to 19: https://developer.mescius.com/blogs/wijmo-build-52026152-is-available

  Your @grapecity packages need to move to @mescius. find and replace in package.json and your imports and @grapecity stops receiving releases from 2027 v1. https://developer.mescius.com/blogs/wijmo-2026-v1-has-landed#:~:text=npm%20References%20to-,%40mescius%20Scope,-As%20a%20reminder

  3. Breaking changes For breaking changes, you can refer to the following link for information about the changes made in different Wijmo versions: https://developer.mescius.com/wijmo/releases
     
     For all breaking changes, please refer to the ‘Changelog.txt’ file. You’ll find the ‘Changelog.txt’ file in the Wijmo’s zip file that is downloaded from our website - https://developer.mescius.com/wijmo/download
     
     You can see all the breaking changes there and make adjustments to your project accordingly.
  4. Node 24, TypeScript, standalone components, esbuild

  Node 24: Wijmo runs in the browser so Node support comes from Angular whose table lists Node 24 for Angular 20 and 21: https://angular.dev/reference/versions.
  
  Our test project (Angular 21.1.0, Wijmo 5.20262.60, Node 24.18.0) ran FlexGrid with CollectionView correctly.

  Tested Sample → Wijmo_Forum__Angular_and_Node.zip

  TypeScript: set by Angular on the same page. Our test used 5.9.3.
  
  Standalone components are supported and recommended and your existing module imports still work: https://developer.mescius.com/wijmo/docs/GettingStarted/Angular-Components

  Zoneless is supported since build 5.20261.52: https://developer.mescius.com/wijmo/docs/GettingStarted/QuickStart/QuickStart-Angular

  5. Migration path

  Move to @mescius while still on Angular 17 and 5.20242.21.
  
  Angular 18: keep 5.20242.21.
  
  Angular 19: move to 2025 v1 or later.
  
  Angular 20.3.18 or later: move to 5.20262.60, and upgrade Node to 24 here.
  
  Angular 21: stay on 5.20262.60.

  Also Wijmo isn’t compatible with Angular server-side rendering https://developer.mescius.com/blogs/wijmo-supports-angular-19.
