    Hello Enrique,

The uicons-regular-rounded.css file is not part of ComponentOne. It is a third-party Flaticon stylesheet, and it is only needed if you use its classes, such as “fi fi-rr-user”, in your pages.

Saving only the CSS file is not enough to avoid the CDN. Inside the CSS, the @font-face rule loads the icon fonts (.woff2, .woff and .eot) from the same CDN with full https URLs. To host everything locally:

    • Download the CSS file and the font files from the webfonts folder of the same CDN path (for example, uicons-regular-rounded.woff2 and uicons-regular-rounded.woff).
    • Add them to your WebForms project, for example CSS in a css folder and fonts in a fonts folder.
    • In the CSS, change the url() values in @font-face to point to your local font files, for example url(“…/fonts/uicons-regular-rounded.woff2”).
    • Point your link tag to the local CSS file.

After this, the page no longer needs internet access for the icons.

About using several CSS files or one: it depends on your project. Separate files are easier to debug and modify. If the total size is small and you prefer simplicity, a single combined file also works, and it means fewer requests to the server.

    Regards,

    Uttkarsh
