The ComponentOne release schedule includes two major releases and four maintenance releases each year. The major releases will include new features, products, and controls, while the four maintenance releases primarily include bug fixes and small improvements.

How to Update ComponentOne Controls

We have a new resource page with quick instructions for updating the ComponentOne controls. For detailed instructions, check out the How to Update page. 

You can update local assemblies through our web installer on the Build Repository tab if you're referencing local assemblies.

1. Launch the C1ControlPanel or download it again from our website
2. Click the Build Repository tab
3. Check the box to include prerelease and hotfix versions
4. Locate the version you have installed and click Update
5. Choose the latest version and proceed

2025 v1.1 Updates

WinForms

Improvements to the New FlexGrid Filter UI

The 2025 v1 release introduced a new, modernized filter UI for FlexGrid. In this maintenance release, we've cleaned up some text and made the dropdown more compact by default.

WPF

Office365 Theme Improvements

This maintenance release includes many small improvements to our WPF Office 365 themes.

Improvements to Maps

With Microsoft deprecating Bing Maps, we are pivoting C1Maps to use OpenStreetMaps as the default map source.

WinUI & MAUI

We made several behavior improvements to FlexGrid for selecting and dragging rows and columns.

In the WinUI FlexViewer, we improved keyboard page navigation to support ALT + arrow keys, and several export improvements for PDF.

Blazor
