    Hello,

    I had installed ComponentOne 4.5.2. (C:\Program Files (x86)\ComponentOne\WinForms Edition\bin\v4.5.2)

    Now I installed 4.5.2 via ComponentOneControlPanel_202412.19.1.exe

4.5.2 ist now installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\MESCIUS\ComponentOne\WinForms\bin\v4.5.2

Is there a quick way of update my existing C# projects in Visual Studio.

Or must I delete the existing references and insert it new,

    Tanhks Horst

    Hello Horst,

It is best if you remove the older references and add new ones. Then set their “Specific Version” property to False.

After that, update the licenses.licx file accordingly.

For licenses.licx, you can refer to https://developer.mescius.com/componentone/docs/license/online-license/generate-license-file-manually.html

Please let us know if you face any issues. Please revert with the following details:

    1. licenses.licx file
    2. All C1 DLLs references in your application along with their version
    3. A screenshot of the error

    Regards,

    Uttkarsh.

    Hi Horst,

you could do a “search & replace” in all csproj files and replace the path. This should be sufficient.

But if possible it is better to use Nuget packages ;-).

    Best regards

    Wolfgang
