Last year we announced that support for .NET 4.0 was ending. This year we need to continue moving the target forward and announce end of support dates for .NET Framework 4.5.2. See the complete WinForms support status below:
*4.0 - Support ended Dec 31, 2023
*4.5.2 - Support ending Dec 31, 2024
*4.6.2 - Actively Supported
*4.8 - Actively Supported
*5.0 - Support ended Dec 31, 2022
*6.0 - Actively Supported, will enter maintenance mode in 2025
*7.0 - Actively Supported, will enter maintenance mode in 2025
*8.0 - Actively Supported
*9.0 - Supported starting with 2024 v2 release
An actively supported version of our controls means we still fix bugs and introduce new features, such as our new Office 365 Themes added in 2024 v1. Maintenance mode means that we only address user-reported bug fixes.
If you’re working with a .NET Framework application, we recommend updating to our 4.8 controls. Otherwise, we recommend updating to .NET 8.
You can find the latest version of our 2.0, 4.0, and 4.5.2 controls below. For supported versions we recommend downloading the latest version from our web installer (click download on any web page).
