How to get C1DateEdit to accept an entry like "00/00/2017"

  Hi,

  Is it possible to get C1DateEdit to accept an entry like “00/00/2017”, for example by using custom formats ?

  And if so - and since it’s not a valid date - how can I still use PostValidation events to check entered dates ?

  Hi Stephan!

  C1DateEdit would accept a valid date only. And, since it provides built-in validation feature. Could you please let me know the scenario/use case of this? It may help me in suggesting you something appropriate for the scenario.

  Thanks for the quick response.

  I’m currently developing an app for the German HealthCare Sector. Some patients (e.g. refugees) don’t know their exact birthdate, so it’s crucial that the user is able to leave day and month entries blank or last least fill it with zeros.
