  Hi, I am creating columns at run time and assigning data map. All is fine.

  Is it possible to get data map drop down box to search by contains?

  I have looked at autocomplete. But using it in the grid is complex, we need to do customer cell editor example which still does not allow freetyping

  Everything I do is at run time. I cannot use cell template that can be specified at design time

  Is it possible to get data map drop down box to search by contains? If yes, let me know how

  I am sorry but using a custom editor is the only option you have right now.
