  Hi,

  I have applied this below code and the date field is coming but there are some issues:

  1. until unless i click on the cell, it is not showing the icon for the calendar.
     
     2.once the calendar is opened, if i click outside it is not closing.
     
     3.i have selected a date to the cell, but when i double click it automatically taking the today’s date.

  Please resolve these issues.

  Hello Sasmita,

  1. The InputDate is placed as CustomEditor which required the double-click to enter in edit mode.

  2. To close calendar, handle lostFocus event for InputDate and close the dropDown. Please refer to the demos sample:

  3. We are sorry, we are unable to replicate the issue at our end. But this issue may have occurred if the provided value is not Date type object same as the sample.
