  Issue:

  Entering certain text, such as ‘https://www.notonthehighstreet.com/gifts/shop-by-occasion/birthdays/30th-birthday-gifts?filter[delivery_zone]=1&filter[subcategories][]=for-him’, into a Flexsheet cell causes Chrome to hang, and needs to be force restarted. It also causes Firefox to run very slowly.

  Setup:

  • "

  • “OS: macOS Sierra (v10.12.6)”

  • “Browser: Chrome (v64.0.3282.119) or Firefox (v58.0.1)”

  • “Wijmo: 5.20173.405 Eval (but also happens on your live demo site)”

  "

  To replicate:

  1. Visit the demos page: http://demos.wijmo.com/5/angular/FlexSheetIntro/FlexSheetIntro/

  2. Go to an ‘Empty Sheet’ in the first demo.

  3. Paste the following text into cell A1.

  https://www.notonthehighstreet.com/gifts/shop-by-occasion/birthdays/30th-birthday-gifts?filter[delivery_zone]=1&filter[subcategories][]=for-him

  The browser will hang and/or Flexsheet will become unresponsive.

  We are able to replicate the issue at our end and it seems a bug. Hence, this issue has been forwarded to the concerned team for further investigation with internal tracking id 307044.
