  Hi,

  I have a flexgrid with a text column, I wish to implement an autocomplete.

  This is my markup for the html:

  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  

  It is working correctly in that I get suggestions when I type, and if I choose one of the suggestions the data is populated in the cell.

  BUT - when I type in a value that is not one of the suggestions (which is a requirement to allow the users to type whatever they want in the cell, it is not limited to the suggestions), the data does not populate in the cell and the cell becomes blank.

  What am I missing?

  Hi,
  
  The behavior observed is by design. The value does not get updated until the value is not selected for AutoComplete.
  
  For Autocomplete, the value can be updated by binding to text property instead of selected-value.
