  Hi all

  I use trace in web.config

  <system.web>
      <trace enabled="true" mostRecent="true" pageOutput="true"/>

  and I get an error

  2010v1 old version
  
  

  

  1821×999 107 KB

  

  1804×1053 104 KB

  2025v2 399 new version
  
  

  

  2015×1107 218 KB

  Code is the same in both versions (only changes the types 2010v1 → 2025v2 399)

  any suggestions ?

  Hello Enrique,

  The error you are getting “Multiple controls were found with the same ID → Trace requires unique control IDs” usually occurs when two or more controls have the same Id attribute.
  
  We’re sorry but we could not replicate the behavior at our end. Please refer to the attached sample: GridView_Trace.zip

  Could you please update the attached sample to reproduce the error so that we can investigate it further?
