    Hi,

    Migrate from 2010v1 to 2025v2 399 in ASP.NET WebForms NET Framework 4.8.1.

    Before, I was used C1Window. Now, Using C1Dialog from C1.Web.Wijmo.Controls.48.dll

    In my aspx page, when I save it, those properties are auto-generated:

                                AppendTo="body"
                                Localization-Close="Close" Localization-Maximize="Maximize" Localization-Minimize="Minimize" Localization-Pin="Pin" Localization-Refresh="Refresh" Localization-Toggle="Toggle"
                                MaintainVisibilityOnPostback="False" Show="blind"
                                >

                        <collapsinganimation option="">
    					</collapsinganimation>
    					<expandinganimation option="">
    					</expandinganimation>

    Why set Default properties auto ?

    Which are the Default properties (and values) in C1Dialog 2025v2 399 ?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi,

    It is weird that your properties are auto-generated. Make sure you have not referenced these values anywhere in your markdown, designer.cs, or .cs files. Then try removing these values and save it.

    The C1Dialog only requires two properties by default: ‘id’ and ‘runat’.

    Please find attached a sample for C1Dialog using only these two properties.

    Please note that ASP.NET WebForms is now considered a legacy platform, and there is no active development ongoing for it. Additionally, you are upgrading from a very old version, which typically requires reimplementing several features from scratch.

    Therefore, we strongly recommend considering a migration to ASP.NET MVC to take advantage of the latest features, improvements, and full product support.

    You can refer to the following documentation for more details:

    Thanks for your understanding.

    try removing these values and save it, and it appears again,

    I try record a video about it.

    migration to ASP.NET MVC not possible now, time and money in the company, not available for migrations

    Hello,

    On further digging, we could observe that this behavior does get replicated on even the latest version (without migration) when we edit the dialog in the Designer file and then save it.

    We could observe that this is an intended behavior, and does not functionally change anything if we remove these attributes as well, so there shouldn’t be any issue with these attributes getting automatically added in your application.

    These attributes refer to the tooltip you get when hovering over the C1Dialog icons. You can change its text as required. As these attributes don’t appear in the properties panel in the designer, they are implemented in the markdown.

    Do let us know if you do not want the tooltip to show on your C1Dialog buttons, as there is no direct way for it. We’ll share a custom workaround for the same.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Anand
