    Hi,

I am looking for a way to recreate what if analysis or sensitivity analysis feature present in Excel. Could you please let me know if you are aware of any easy way to achieve this in SpreadJS? Also, do you happen to have any such feature in the pipeline at the moment?

    Thanks,

    Priyatham.

    Hi,

Yes, this is in the product backlog, but this feature is not yet planned for adding in the upcoming release. Your request for it will help to make the priority higher; thanks for the feedback!

It is possible to implement this using the current API of SpreadJS, and we do have some support for this feature in other platforms (e.g. GoalSeek). Please note that the support for this feature only includes GoalSeek; we have not implemented the Scenario Manager or Data Table analysis features.

If have added a new request to port the logic for GoalSeek to SpreadJS for a new sample. I think it would not be hard to port that logic for Spread Windows Forms to SpreadJS and provide GoalSeek method sample code, but it might take a little while to do it. Once the sample is ready, it will be posted here (and in a blog post).

    Regards,

    Hello,

We are an active user of spreadJS and are interested in goal seek as well. Any news on this? We’re currently on 9, and would likely have to upgrade to take advantage of anything you do, correct?

    Thanks!

    Dave
