We are observing a change in behavior in the SpreadJS Pivot Table functionality.
Previously, it was possible to create multiple groups on a Pivot Table field sequentially using the context menu. However, in the current behavior:
The first group creation works as expected.
On attempting to create another group on the same field, an error is thrown: “Pivot field already present.”
This appears to be a regression or change from earlier behavior, where grouping could be applied multiple times on the same field without issues.
We would like to confirm:
Whether this is an intentional change in behavior or a defect.
If intentional, what is the recommended approach for creating multiple groups on the same Pivot Table field.
