  I am using SpreadJS and designer component 14.2.5.

  When a sheet is protected, most toolbars and menus are disabled. However, the submenus under CellType and CellDropdown are still accessible which allows the appearance of the cell to change.

  

  Is there a way to ensure these options cannot be used when the sheet is protected?

  Hi,

  I was able to observe that in the Designer Component V14.2.5, the user can select the cell type and cell dropdowns when the SpreadJS is loaded initially(if the sheet is protected). However, this issue has been fixed in the latest version of SpreadJS(V15.0.7). You can upgrade to the latest version of SpreadJS.

  If this doesn’t align with you issue, could you please explain what protection options you are using and the steps you are following so that we can test it once at our end also.

  Please find the attached sample that we have used for testing(using v15.0.7). Note that in the sample, the protection is applied on the Sheet1.
