Please find attached workbook. Each incremental recalculation takes over 40 seconds to complete. For comparison, the same workbook recalculates nearly instantaneously in Microsoft Excel.

Could you please investigate and advise on a potential cause or solution?

    Thanks!

I am still investigating, but it looks like UDFs are running and slowing down the calculation process

    Hi Dean,

Thanks for reaching out. I noticed in your message that you mentioned an attached workbook, but I wasn’t able to find any file. Could you please resend the workbook so that we can investigate the recalculation performance on our end?

From your follow-up, it seems like UDFs (user-defined functions) may be involved, which could explain the slower calculations compared to Excel. Once we have the file and a working sample, we’ll be able to confirm whether UDFs or any other factors are contributing and suggest the best way forward.

In case the workbook contains some confidential data, you can share it with us on our private support portal at https://developer.mescius.com/my-account/my-support.

    Kind Regards,

    Chirag Gupta
