  Normally the Rich Text Editor dialog can be opened through the built-in UI (for example ribbon/context menu).

  However, in my case I want to open the Rich Text dialog programmatically by code, without relying on user clicks in the UI. For example, I would like to add a custom button into the ToolStrip and have it launch the Rich Text dialog.

  Hi,

  It is possible to open the Rich Text Dialog programmatically using the SpreadJS Designer API. Please refer to the code snippet below that demonstrates the same:

  const rtTemplate = GC.Spread.Sheets.Designer.getTemplate(GC.Spread.Sheets.Designer.TemplateNames.RichTextDialogTemplate);
  GC.Spread.Sheets.Designer.showDialog(rtTemplate.templateName);

  You can further refer to the attached code sample that uses the above code snippet and opens the rich text dialog programmatically (see below).
