  Good morning/afternoon.

  Following up the recent issues related to the StatusBar zooming panel raised in the last weeks: https://www.grapecity.com/forums/spread-sheets/setting-limits-to-the-zoom

  I discovered that the event GC.Spread.Sheets.Events.UserZooming does trigger when the user use ctrl+scroll shortcut but it doesn’t when the user clicks on the zooming panel within the StatusBar, Therefore I don’t know how to track the event.

  Would you mind help me out, please?

  Hi Davide,

  We are able to replicate the issue at our end and hence we have forwarded it to the concerned team for further investigation of the issue. The internal tracking Id for the same is SJS-3325.

  Would it be possible to have an ETA for the fix? this is quite breaking the user experience of our application as we save the zooming information within the user’s settings based on this action.

  Hi Davide,

  I’ve asked the team to prioritize this case and to provide an ETA. I will let you know as soon as I get the update. Till then as a workaround, you may override the zoom method to fire your event handler. Please refer to the following sample which demonstrates the same:

  Thanks, this workaround works but yes, ideally we’d like to avoid to maintain workarounds. I also feel (not sure as I can’t debug) that the scroll listener doesn’t have a debounce applied which is usually useful to avoid performance issues

  Hi Davide,

  The dev team has already fixed the issue in the internal build. The fix is expected to be included in the next stable release(13.0.5).

  Thank you for this update.

  I’ve seen that has been released Version: 13.0.4, would you mind address me to the release notes/ change log ? I find quite impossible to find the change logs whenever the library gets some update.

  Hi Davide,

  The issue regarding the userZooming event not triggering for zoom slider buttons is fixed in the latest 13.0.5 build. Please update to the latest build and let us know if the issue persists for you.
