  We recently started using pivot tables on SpreadJS. We noticed cell formatting ( Bold, Italics, Background color … ) applied on the pivot table gets reset when the pivot panel is opened ( using GC.Spread.Pivot.PivotPanel )

  This doesn’t happen on the spreadJS designer demo.

  Can someone point us to the right documentation on how to add cell formatting to Pivot tables?

  Hi,
  
  The observed behavior is by design. The designer internally manages to preserve the style and when the pivot panel is created, it automatically applies the style to the table. This is not the case with SpreadJS.
  
  It is recommended to use the setStyle method to set the style on the pivot table: https://www.grapecity.com/spreadjs/docs/v14/online/SpreadJS~GC.Spread.Pivot.PivotTable~setStyle.html

  Can you point me toward the documentation for PivotAreas and how to convert a selection on PivotTable into PivotAreas

  The documentation on Pivot Table Area doesn’t have any information
