  Issue 1: Does not work on cells that contain a formula already. Instead of changing the cell to today’s date,

  • If the formula is a number, it will convert that number to a short date. However, in the “Numbers” settings it still stays “Custom” rather than date
  • If the formula is a text result, ctrl + ; doesn’t do anything

  Issue 2: after ctrl + ; adds today’s date to the cell, the format is still shown as Custom rather than date format. In excel it changes to date format. (In the numbers section settings on the home tab).
