I can’t edit cell on my local React env (tested Spread JS versions 12 and 14) and moreover on https://www.grapecity.com/ official site in demo sections the same problem exists.

I’m linking the video with the bug: https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuxnkK8

Error message appears in the browser console:

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. double-click on cell
    2. type some text
    3. hit enter
    4. cell is still empty

    Expected behavior:

Call contains text I just typed.

    Problem appears on:

    macOS Big Sur

    MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)

Chrome: Version 91.0.4472.114 (Official Build) (arm64)

P.S. On Google Chrome Canary everything is working fine.

    Hi Mateusz,

We are sorry but we don’t have an m1 mac at the moment to test this issue but we have tested this on a regular intel mac and the issue is not replicable at our end.

Further, in the shared screen recording we could observe that you have lots of extensions enabled(that may cause the issue), would you please once test it by disabling all the extensions and let us know if that makes any difference?

    Regards

I’ve just checked it out and yes it is connected to Chrome extensions! I really do not know why I did not check this before

After disabling and enabling them one by one, I’ve found the villain. This is it – https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/grammar-and-spell-checker/oldceeleldhonbafppcapldpdifcinji This is quite legit extension with good reviews, and I’ve never had problems with it for years.

Can you install it and confirm that bug came from this extension?
