SPR32DU80.DLL crashing bug

I’m using c++ and have an application built over 15 years ago with this spread 8 grid.

It has developed a crashing bug in the spread component. Is there any chance of getting symbol files (.PDB) for the dll’s so we can debug?

Use the version/build of the DLL to match exactly. If you have the include headers and the LIB file you can sometimes guess the method names, though you’ll miss line numbers.

It might help if you can share which Windows version and compiler you’re targeting. SPR32DU80.DLL is quite old, so compatibility issues with newer runtimes are common. Have you tried running the app under an older toolset or checking whether the crash occurs before or after initialization of the Spread grid? Logs or call stack info (even partial) could narrow it down.
