    Hi,

We are trying to convert attached word document ( AlphaTestDOC.docx, TestDoc.docx) to pdf.

But we are not getting expected format in pdf files (AlphaTestPDF.pdf, TestDocPDF.pdf).

We are using the following dll files to load document in gcword object and convert to pdf.

    1. Office 365
    2. GrapeCity.Documents.Common.dll - 2.2.0.310
    3. GrapeCity.Documents.Imaging.dll - 2.2.0.310
    4. GrapeCity.Documents.Layout.dll - 2.2.0.310
    5. GrapeCity.Documents.Pdf.dll - 2.2.0.310
    6. GrapeCity.Documents.Word.dll - 2.2.0.310

Do we need to follow/configure anything to get the expected result?Word Conversion.zip

    Hello,

We can observe the issue as well. Hence, I have forwarded it to the developers [DOC:1718].

We will update you once it is fixed or we receive an update.

    Thanks,

    Ruchir

    Hi Karthik,

Our current Word to PDF conversion has several known layout related issues. We are currently working hard on refactoring of that code that should fix most of those issues, this update will become available in 2-3 months from now (most probably in our v3.2 release, but maybe even earlier).

    Thanks,

    Dmitry.

To convert a PDF file to Word without losing formatting follow this steps -

Step 1 Download and install Adobe Acrobat on your computer from the official website of Adobe.

Step 2 Open a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat that you want to convert into Word without changing the format.

Step 3 From the menu click on File and Export. Step 4 Now choose “Microsoft Word Document” as the text format.

    Greeting,

    Rachel Gomez
