My project is using Active Report v7 and Grapecity.win.multirow.v70 with .NET Framework 3.5.

I have a plan to upgrade .NET Framework version from 3.5 to 4.8.

I want to know whether ActiveReports v7 is compatible with .NET Framework 4.8?

Do I need to upgrade the ActiveReports and Multirow version?

    Hello Hieu,

ActiveReports version 7 is not compatible with .NET Framework 4.8. You can refer to the system requirements for ActiveReports 7 at the following link:

    https://help.grapecity.com/activereports/webhelp/Legacy/AR7Help/OnlineEN/index.html

Since you are planning to upgrade to .NET Framework 4.8, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of ActiveReports (v19). The latest version includes numerous improvements and API enhancements for better performance, flexibility, and modern development support.

Additionally, please note that the MultiRow control is no longer under active development. We suggest exploring our flagship Spread.NET WinForms grid control, which offers powerful data presentation and layout capabilities that may better fit your use case:

If you need any further information or assistance during the migration, please feel free to let us know.
