  Hi,

  We are using active reports web designer latest version 20.1.4. We added a calculated field in dataset. When we try to edit the dataset like adding a new column to the existing query and validate, the existing calculated field is getting cleared. Is this an issue or expected behavior?

  Hi Venkatesan,

  This is expected behaviour because, when validating the dataset query, it does not fetch only the newly added field. Instead, it fetches all the fields and replaces them with the existing fields. As a result, it loses reference to the old fields, and the calculated field gets cleared.
