  Hi,

  I’m using Active Reports 10 (my local machine has Windows 10). I have an rpx file I’m editing that has a barcode that I need to be IntelligentMail style. When I choose this style, the barcode does not print. If I change the ‘Text’ field to anything in the designer, it says ‘Invalid barcode data’. I have tried installing fonts for IntelligentMail but no luck. Is there something else I need that I’m missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello Richard,

  You need to set the value of “Text” property according to the Intelligent Mail barcode specification. You can refer to the following link to know more about Intelligent Mail barcode:

  Hello!

  Thank you for your reply! I do see the barcode in the designer now. My problem now is I am exporting the report to PDF, but the barcode is not showing up in the PDF file. We actually generate the report in C#, then immediately export to PDF so our users can view it. I have tried installing fonts I found online, and tried using IE, Chrome, and Edge, but it is not visible. Is there anything else I am missing?

  I am not able to reproduce the issue at our end. Please refer to the attached sample.

  Could you please either modify the attached application or provide your own stripped down project so that I can try reproducing the same behavior at my end and assist you further accordingly?

  Hi, thank you again for your help. I finally figured out my issue after looking over your project. My code had references to an older version of Active Reports as well as the newer version 10. But the program was using the older version to export. I removed all references to the older version and the barcode showed on the PDF. Thank you for your help figuring this out!
