I’ve an issue with the demo pop-up appearing on some machines.
We are using a licenced version of VSRpt8.ocx and VSPrint8.ocx.
On most machines they work fine, but random machines they will pop up the demo nag screen every time either of these controls are referenced.
Does not occur on a clean-built machine, so it’s not the app build that’s the problem.
Unregistered the ocx’s, used the cleanup tool and ensured no versions elsewhere on the machine, re-install the app but the problem persists.
I’m assuming there is a corrupt licence/reg entry file somewhere that it is seeing, but I can’t find anything that might be causing it.
Help!
It’s driving us nuts and impacting rollout of applications.
