  I’m creating a report that is very much like an address label; however, I need to group the labels by an attribute. When I group or sort by the desired attribute (I realize that grouping and sorting are not the same, but the result I see is identical when I configure one, the other, or both), only one of the results that share that value is returned. As soon as I remove the group or sort configuration, the results all return. Does anyone have any ideas why this might happen or any suggestions I could try?

  Please share a sample report with dummy data and proper steps we can follow to reproduce this issue so we can test this behavior at our end and get back to you accordingly.

  I can’t post the original report or data source (primarily because it is proprietary data) but I tested the same type of configuration using a sample report on the site and saw the same behavior.

  In the report if I want the address labels to be grouped and printed in a specific order (I used “Company Name” from the sample data) then I no longer get the same number of results that match my query but I appear to get one result per unique value I am using to group the results.

  Hi David,

  The issue is occurring because the CompanyName field is unique for each record in the Northwind data base If you group the data by say Country you will notice that the fixed pages are now grouped by Country name.
