    Hi

I’m creating a report allowing the user to select a font and I’m having a problem with certain fonts like ‘Sitka Text’ and sometimes ‘Arial Regular’. The image I have attached shows that the top of the text is cut off when the text is set to Right Alignment now when Left Alignment is used the text displays correctly.

What do I need to do to correct this?

    Thank you.

I should add that I’m using AR12.2 - This happens in both the creation and runtime.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I am unable to reproduce the issue at my end. Please refer to the attached report. Could you please either modify the attached report or share the stripped down report with us so that I can replicate the issue at my end.

    Thanks,

    Mohit

    Hi

I’ve amended the rpx file. You need to use a label or a TextBox and also Sitka Text as Font.

    Thank you.

    Hi

I’ve attached two more items. The image is the misalignment of text when using Microsoft sans 8pt on one of my reports. The report is run through the viewer control object at 100% if the view is set at 200% then the misalignment improves. The second file is a rpx. You can see that when using left and right alignment the label text does not appear in the same postion.

When creating my report all textbox have the same height and start at top position 0, the design has all the text correctly aligned as shown in the rpx which shows the slight misalignment with left and right alignment set. When the report is run the misalignment can be clearly seen. Hope these can help.

    Hello,

As a workaround, please set the “CharacterSpacing” to "0.1’

If the issue is not resolved by the above solution, please let me know.

    Thanks,
