  When a field takes up more than one line, if it is marked as not to be repeated (with ‘RC’ in the tag) and a line break occurs, the field appears cut off on the new page. Is there a solution to this problem?

  Hi Sisteplant,

  A similar issue was reported in an older version of ActiveReports with RichTextBox, which was a bug and had been fixed in ActiveReports 17.3. You can try upgrading to the latest version of ActiveReports by downloading it using Download ActiveReports and see if your issue persists.

  However, if you’d not like upgrading at this stage, you can also try using the ‘KeepTogether’ property of the section, which will keep the content on one page. If the content is splitting at the edges, the whole TextBox will move to the consecutive page to render as one.

  If the issue persists, please try sharing a minimal, replicable sample so we can reproduce the issue on our end and further investigate the cause of the same.

  Could you please share a minimal, runnable version of your project so we can replicate the issue on our end and investigate the cause further?

  In case of a bug, we’ll test whether the issue persists in the latest versions of ActiveReports. If it does, we’ll escalate the case with our development team.

  Hi,

  I can’t share the project, but it’s easy to reproduce.
  
  If you have a TextBox that doesn’t fit on a single line and takes up more space, and its tag is set to RC (do not repeat), when a page break occurs, as the field is re-entered (so as not to leave it blank because it’s set to ‘do not repeat’), the text is cut off. I’ve attached an example.

  Hi Ana,

  We tried replicating this issue with the latest version of ActiveReports 16, i.e. v16.4.1, but the issue does not seem to replicate with this version of ActiveReports. We tried varying the height of the Textbox and detail section as well, but the issue does not seem to reproduce.

  So the issue may have been fixed in the last released version of ActiveReports 16, or we are unable to replicate it with our sample.

  Could you please try upgrading your project to the latest version of ActiveReports 16 by downloading it from here Download Version History.

  However, if the issue persists please try modifying our attached sample on your end such that it replicates the issue and share the same with us so we can further investigate the issue.
