Apologies for the inconvenience you’ve experienced.
This is a known issue that has been resolved in ActiveReports version 19. We recommend upgrading to the latest version and letting us know if the problem persists. If you still encounter the issue with version 19, please share a sample (dummy) report with us so we can investigate it further.

It’s not a good news, we only have AR 18 license yet, what can we do now?

Hello Michael,
We are discussing this with the development team to see if there is any workaround available in the version 18 to fix this issue.
We will let you know as soon as we get any updates from the developers’ side.

Hello,
Apologies for the misunderstanding.
The report we were using before is created via ActiveReports 19 designer so it was not rendering in the ActiveReports 18 designer.
Please find the report file created via AR 18 designer and working fine in the designer as well.
test1.zipIf you still face the issue, please share your stripped-down report so that we can assist you further accordingly.

Hi,
Thanks for the detailed screenshot!
We tested this scenario using the WebDesigner_MVC product sample using the same report we had attached, and we were able to preview it in the Designer along with that we could see the chart rendering correctly in the viewer. Please see the attached screenshot for reference:
For your convenience, we’ve also attached our working sample. Could you please try with this sample on your side? You can follow the steps below:
- Run the sample
- Click on File menu
- Double-click the Page folder
- Open test1.rdlx
If the issue still occurs after comparing with our sample, we would appreciate it if you could share a stripped-down version of your project where the problem can be reproduced. This will help us investigate further.
