What is SpreadCOM?
SpreadCOM is the original spreadsheet .OCX control written in Visual C++ 6.0 and is popular among people who have ActiveX / COM applications that they need to maintain or need to write new applications to run in older environments. SpreadCOM also includes .DLL controls in both 32 and 64-bit versions.
Is This FarPoint Spread?
Essentially, yes. GrapeCity acquired FarPoint in 2012 and SpreadCOM is the orginal Spreadsheet control that started it all. That is why the control's namespace is "fpSpread".
Do You Support SpreadCOM?
Yes, we are here to help everybody. Online support is free and phone support plans are very affordable.
Will There Be More Releases?
We do not plan to release more versions, but we will sometimes issue bug fixes.
How Long Will You Offer Spread COM?
We have no plans to stop offering SpreadCOM. As long as you need it, we will offer it.
