This function returns the cotangent of the specified angle.

Syntax

COT(angle)

Arguments

This function can take any real number as an argument. The angle argument is the angle in radians for which you want the cotangent.

Remarks

If the angle is in degrees, multiply it by PI/180 to convert it to radians.

Data Types

Accepts numeric data. Returns numeric data.

Examples

COT(60) gives the result 3.1246

COT(35) gives the result 2.1105
