Wijmo 2025 v1 Launched by MESCIUS USA, Inc.

The first major release of 2025 includes support for Angular 19 and Next.js 15 and enhancements to FlexGrid, such as tri-state sorting, an empty data message, and accessibility improvements. With the release of Wijmo 2025 v1, JavaScript developers now have access to full Angular 19 support. Wijmo has a long tradition of support for Angular, including powerful markup features like Cell Templates in FlexGrid. Wijmo’s latest release supports Next.js 15 in addition to Angular 19. Its React Interop enables JavaScript software developers to utilize Wijmo controls within a Next.js project. To successfully use Wijmo components in a Next.js application, software engineers must ensure that they are rendered only on the client side, as server-side rendering is not supported. To address a customer request, the Wijmo team has added a new noDataOverlayContent property to FlexGrid. This allows developers to specify an HTML string content string to be displayed in the overlay when the grid data is empty, which is a more user-friendly way of showing an empty datagrid. Another customer requested the ability to customize sort behavior when column headers are clicked, suggesting a three-click pattern. To support this and change the order, the team has introduced a sortOrder property, which allows the user to choose the Sort behavior for FlexGrid.
