How to get the total number of pages in a Section Report

This article shows how you can get the total number of pages in a Section Report.

Steps to Complete:

ReportInfo Solution:

  • Add the ReportInfo control anywhere on the design surface

  • Go to the FormatString property for the ReportInfo Control and type {PageCount}

  • Hit the Preview tab and you’ll see the ReportInfo control display the total number of pages in your report

TextBox Solution:

  • Add a TextBox control anywhere on the design surface

  • Go to the SummaryType property for the TextBox control and select the PageCount option

  • Hit the Preview tab and you’ll see the TextBox control display the total number of pages in your report
