How to add runtime data to the Formatted Text Control in RDL and Page reports

Steps to Complete:

1. In the sample, add another FormattedText control and goto the Property Dialog of that control

2. Once the Property Dialog appears, go to the Mail Merge and do the following:

3. Click the green plus sign to add a Mail Merge Field

5. In the Field inputbox enter Callback

6. In the Value combobox, select  and input =Fields!Callback.Value in the Expression textbox and select Ok and select Ok again

7. Select the FormattedText control and goto the HTML property and insert the following code:

This Callback is <%Callback/%> 

8. Click the preview tab
