C1Flexgrig Checkbox Visualstyle Office2010Blue/Custom problem

    Good Day,

    After installing the new component one. An issue with the Checkbox Visualstyle

    has happed in the C1Flexgrid.

    The Checkbox in Visualstyle = Office2010Blue does not appear anymore in the Flexgrid. I can only use the Visualstyle = custom.

    I use the component 4.8 with VS 2022

    This is a known issue in the 2023v1(596) version of C1FlexGrid. This issue has already been fixed in the latest 2023v1(603) hotfix release. The hotfix release is now available for installation from NuGet and ComponentOneControlPanel.

    I could update one computer with the hotfixes and i still have a problem to update another one See attached picture.

    Hi Said,

    1. Could you please try clicking the “red error icon” shown in the screenshot and share a screenshot of the exact error instead?

    2. You have mentioned that the hotfix is successfully installed on your first machine but showing an error in the second one. Are there any differences between these two machines?

    3. Make sure that your firewall is not blocking the connection to our download servers. To allow the web installer through a firewall, you will need to whitelist the following:

    https://espresso.componentone.com
    http://cellar.componentone.com

    1. At the time of installation, make sure that there aren’t any Visual Studio instances or Files/Folders related to C1 open on your machine.

    Dear Kartik,

    Sorry for the late answer.

    After clicking the “red error icon”. The ComponentOne Controlpannel closed and does not show any error.

    My colleague (administrator) also tried to see if the following:

    http://cdn.componentone.com

    https://espresso.componentone.com

    http://cellar.componentone.com

    can be joined, No problem.

    The firewall is also not blocking the connection.

    Hi Said,

    We suggest that you once uninstall the WinForms edition from your system using the ComponentOneControlPanel. To do this, you just need to uncheck the “WinForms Edition” on the PRODUCTS > INSTALL tab and click on “Proceed”.

    After the uninstall, try doing a fresh install of the 2023v1 (596) version of WinForms Edition and then the hotfix release to see if you still face any issues. If the issue persists, could you please let us know if are there any differences between these 2 machines?

    Hi,

    This issue with the C1FlexGrid checkboxes was fixed in the 2023v1(603) hotfix release. We tested the issue with the latest 2023v2(611) release and we did not observe the issue on our end. Please see the attached sample project for reference.

    If you are doing something different, please provide a sample project or update the attached project to reproduce the issue, so we can investigate further and assist you in the best way possible.
