  Hi,

  When I execute this code:

  // Configure Workbook and Worksheet
  var spread = new GC.Spread.Sheets.Workbook("ss");
  var sheet = spread.getActiveSheet();
  // Unlock all the cells in the worksheet via the styles
  let style = new GC.Spread.Sheets.Style();
  style.locked = false;
  // Set style as default style for all the cells in the sheet
  sheet.setDefaultStyle(style);
  // Separately lock the cell range you want to be read-only
  new GC.Spread.Sheets.CellRange(sheet, 0, 0, 13, 4).locked(true);
  // Set sheet to be protected
  sheet.options.isProtected = true;

  How to unlocked my designer when I am in an unlocked cell?

  Hi,

  This is expected behavior, and Excel exhibits the same. When a sheet is protected and the sheet.options.protectionOptions.formatCells option is set to false, the ribbon options will be disabled. This setting is not dependent on whether the selected cell is locked or unlocked.

  However, based on my understanding, you want to enable the ribbon options when an unlocked cell is selected. You can achieve this by handling the CellClick event. In the event handler, you can check if the selected cell is locked. If it’s locked, you can set sheet.options.protectionOptions.formatCells to false (disabling the ribbon options). If the cell is unlocked, set it to true (enabling the ribbon options). Please refer to the attached snippet and sample for more details:

      if (args.sheet.options.isProtected && !args.sheet.getCell(args.row, args.col).locked()) {
          args.sheet.options.protectionOptions.formatCells = true;
