    Hello,

i would like to create a Chart based on a Pivot Table by using SpreadJS with the Designer.

If i see it correctly, SpreadJS do not support this?

I “just” can select the are where the Data are, but if the data of the Pivot Table changed with the result, that there is one line more or less, the Charts still use the “old” Area for his setup, right?

For example, in EXCEL i can create a special Pivot Chart, based and connected to the whole Pivot Area.

    Thanks

    Stephan

    Hi,

Pivot Chart functionality is not currently supported in SpreadJS, and there’s no estimated timeline for its availability. However, the requested feature is on our product backlog having high priority with the internal tracking ID: SJS-9372.

Regarding your question, “I can select the area where the data is, but if the data in the Pivot Table changes, resulting in one more or fewer rows, the chart will still use the old data range, correct?” Yes, the chart will continue to use the data range specified at the time of its creation.

    Hello Priyam,

thanks for your answer… even if it’s not quite what I wanted to hear.

THe problem is, that without this little function, the Chart-Creation by automatic reporting does not make sense with Pivot. The risk of creating “wrong” Charts is to high.

If there is no workaround for this, i have to wait for feature.

    Thanks

    Stephan

    Hi,

I apologize for the inconvenience, but there is currently no effective workaround to achieve this. I will keep you updated when this feature becomes available.

    Regards,

    Priyam
