Hi,
I’m updating our reports to comply with the European Accessibility Act and am looking for best practices to ensure accessibility in ActiveReports, specifically when using the Desktop Designer.
One challenge I’m facing is controlling the read order for screen readers.
I haven’t found an option in the Desktop Designer to reorder objects or set a specific reading sequence.
So far, I’ve resorted to editing the report XML directly (adjusting ZIndex and object order) using Notepad++.
However, this method is time-consuming and unreliable, as changes in the Designer can overwrite these manual edits.
Does anyone have advice for managing the read order?
