    Dear ActiveReportsJS Support Team,

I am encountering an issue with automatic aggregation being applied when I drag and drop fields into the report layout. Specifically, when I add a field, it automatically applies a count() aggregation, which I do not want. I would prefer the field to display individual data without any aggregation.

Could you please assist me in preventing this automatic aggregation from being applied when fields are dragged and dropped into the report? If there are any default configurations or settings I need to adjust, I would appreciate your guidance.

    Thanks,

    Rhett Price

    Hi Rhett,

It is a part of the designed behaviour to show the aggregated value of the fields if they are not dragged-dropped to a data region. This is because a field might contain multiple values, but the textbox without any data region will show only one value, which will not quite be the correct output. Hence, we internally add an agregate to it.

However, if you drag and drop the field to any data region (list, table, tablix, etc.), you won’t see any pre-applied aggregate to it.

    We hope this helps!
