.NET Bitmap Key Features
Manipulate Images
The ComponentOne .NET Bitmap library allows you to apply multiple transformations to an image. Crop, clip, scale, flip, rotate, warp, and change the pixel format.
Load and Save Images
Load images in .NET code from a file, stream, or Bitmap Object. Save images to a variety of formats including BMP, GIF, JPG, JPEG-XR, PNG, and TIFF. You can also load icons (ICO) and save to other formats.
Convert Images
Convert images between different formats, such as BMP to JPG or ICO to PNG. You can also convert images to and from platform-specific objects like WriteableBitmap and SoftwareBitmap.
Inspect Images
Get and create the list of colors from an image. For example, determine if images are black and white or contain red. You can also obtain the bits-per-pixel (bpp) and meta data.
Apply Advanced Effects
ComponentOne Bitmap makes it easy to apply advanced effects from Direct2D. Supported effects include Gaussian blur, sharpen, horizontal smear, shadow, displacement map, emboss, edge detect and sepia tones.
Cross-Platform Support
Work with the same .NET image classes and API across multiple .NET platforms. Load, edit and save images across WinForms, WPF and UWP applications.
