Errors with Web Installer for ActiveReports.NET
When downloading from the page at /activereportsnet, the installer is our web (light) installer. This application handles the download and installation of ActiveReports itself.
Should you experience any issues with this installer, we suggest taking one of the following steps:
Option 1: Download the appropriate version of ActiveReports from our downloads page; /activereports/download-version-history.
Option 2: confirm that sa2.mescius.com (13.66.138.97) is not blocked on your network. (if using Version 14 and above of AR)
If that does not resolve it, please review the error message.
Typically it will tell you the process that is interrupting the install, if one is. Usually it will be Visual studios. You should kill any VS processes and try again, or do a restart of the machine to verify all VS processes are ended, then try.
If issues persist beyond this point, we recommend opening a ticket at /my-account/my-support
Please detail which installer you are using, as well as what the error that is happening on the machine.
