  Hello,

  I recently upgraded from ComponentOne 2022v2 to 2024v1, and I’m encountering a couple of issues that I need help with.

  ChartDesigner Error
  
  When I open my project in Visual Studio, I receive the following error:

  Error Message:
  
  The accessor function ‘EnableUI’ for the property of the object ‘C1.Win.C1Chart.ChartDesigner’ has thrown the following exception:
  
  ‘Accessor function methods missing for the property C1.Win.C1Chart.ChartDesigner.EnableUI.’
  
  

  How can I resolve this issue? Has the EnableUI property been removed or replaced in version 2024v1?

  Flex Layout Issues
  
  Additionally, after upgrading, some of my Flex layouts (using FlexGrid and FlexChart) appear misaligned or broken in the designer. I’m attaching an image to illustrate the problem:

  Have there been breaking changes related to layout handling or alignment in 2024v1?

  Hello,

  1. The issue has been reported and resolved in the 2024v1 Hotfix 1 release. To resolve the issue, please update your C1 controls either to the 2024v1 Hotfix 1 build or the latest 2024v2 release (there are breaking changes in 2024v2 w.r.t. C1Excel, C1Pdf, and C1Word).
     
     In ComponentOneControlPanel, the hotfix releases can be downloaded by going to PRODUCTS > BUILD REPOSITORY and then:
     
     a) select “Include prerelease and hotfix versions”
     
     b) Under WinForms section, click update button corresponding to the .NET version
     
     c) select latest build from “All builds”
     
     d) click “UPDATE”

  2. We’re sorry, but we could not observe the change in layout behavior. We created a simple sample with the 2022v2 (4.8.20222.566) version and updated it to 2024v1. Please refer to the attached sample and let us know if we’re missing something here. (see LayoutSample.zip)
     
     Please test your project with the latest version (2024v2 - 688) as well.
     
     Could you please update the attached sample or attach a stripped-down version of your project for further investigation of the behavior?
