    Howdy,

I have a 2nd machine, that doesn’t have the license, only my machine has it.

So, in that 2nd machine, for some reason, when i try to open the flexgrid forms now i’m having this issue in the attached images.

It was working fine for over the last year or so, and only about one month started to happen this.

How can i make it with the default evaluation behavior?

With this error, it’s impossible to open the forms.

In “lic, 2” image, translated the info is: “system.componentmodel.licenseexception: it’s not possible to give license to c1.win.c1flexgrid.c1.flexgrid. contact the maint… etc etc”

All programs are compiled in my machine, and this backup one is for another person to perform forms.

    Thanks in advanced,

    Hello,

This is the design behavior of the C1WinForms. You cannot open the Form containing the C1 component if your machine is not licensed. You need to activate the machine to see the C1 component in design mode. I am worried that earlier, you were seeing the C1component in design mode even when your machine is not licensed. This is not the expected behavior. Also, as per the new licensing scheme, you can only activate on two machines. Please refer to the following link for more detail:

    Hope it clarifies.

    Thanks.

    Mohit,

I use C1 since 2001, and the unlicensed machines always were able to open the forms.

Doesn’t make any sense that change.

Since 2001 my purchased licenses were only activated in one place, but i always was told that it was possible to license it on 3 machines.

    What can i do now?

    Hello Jorge,

but i always was told that it was possible to license it on 3 machines.

Yes, earlier, It was possible to license it on 3 machines. However, from 2017 V1, it has been changed to 2 machines from 3.

I use C1 since 2001, and the unlicensed machines always were able to open the forms

This is not the expected behavior. As per licensing condition, you need to license your machine to use it as a testing purpose.

    Thanks.

    Thank you,

That was not the answer i expected, the machine without license always worked, that was the behavior since 2001, no bother to tell me that is the expected behavior.

    Hello Jorge,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I understand from the licenses that you have purchased that you can use builds till 2017v3 version. The licensing model has been changed/evolved since 2017v1 release. As per the older licensing model, the Form was opened successfully with a nag screen but later Form shows the licensing error if the machine is not licensed or trial license is expired. This is currently expected behavior.

In case you want the trial license key, then please contact our sales team at “us.sales@grapecity.com” or 18008582739(9AM - 5PM EST)

About the activations, as you have purchased the product before 2017v1, hence you should be able to use 3 activations.

    Thanks.
