  Hello, is there any way to capture the event of pasting lines coming from another worksheet and at that moment before pasting the information identify the number of lines coming and if the current worksheet has fewer add these lines and then continue the paste event

  using angular 16 spreadjs 17

  Hi,

  You could set the “allowExtendPasteRange” to true and it will automatically adjust the number of rows and columns while pasting.

  I only need it for rows, is there a way to block the creation of columns in this case?

  Hi,

  You could use the following code snippet to cancel the pasting if the column count exceeded:

  
          spread.options.allowExtendPasteRange = true;
          spread.bind(GC.Spread.Sheets.Events.ClipboardPasting, (sender: any, args: any) => {
              console.log("Clipboard Pasting");
              console.log(args);
              let pastingrange = args.cellRange;
              if((pastingrange.col + pastingrange.colCount) > args.sheet.getColumnCount()) {
                  // Perform Custom Actions Here
                  args.cancel = true;
                  alert("Column Count Exceeded");
              }
          });

  Using the above code snippet, it adds new rows when pasting but restrict the pasting when the column count exceeded the current column count of the sheet.

  Further, you could perform custom actions after cancelling the pasting. The ClipboardPasting Event gives information about the pasting range, the range from where it is pasting, and other information.

  You could perform other actions, such as copying the range based on your condition. Use the ClipboardPaste command in case you want to perform custom copy/paste: https://developer.mescius.com/spreadjs/api/modules/GC.Spread.Sheets.Commands#clipboardpaste
