    Hi,

    Because I have documents with a lot of custom functions, I create my document with the Calculate on demand option set to true:

    So I save my document with these options:

    Now, when I reload my document for printing, I check the Full calculation box to force recalculation of all the functions in my document.

    But it appears that the document is not fully recalculated automatically. Only the visible cells are recalculated and I need to browse my document manually to update others.

    Is it a bug? Is there another solution I’m missing?

    Hi,

    As per my understanding, you’re encountering an issue when saving the SJS file with the “Calculate on Demand” option set to true. When you open the SJS file with the full calculation option checked, only the visible cells are being calculated.

    I attempted to replicate this behavior but was unsuccessful. In my case, both visible and non-visible cells are being calculated. Please refer to the attached gif “Steps.gif” and sample for more details.

    Gif:

    Sample: https://jscodemine.mescius.io/share/-yAd2f8rFkWhv6kuIcIwNA/?IsEmbed=false&Theme=Unset&PreviewDirection=0&IsEditorShow=true&IsExplorerShow=true&IsPreviewShow=true&IsConsoleShow=true&IsRunBTNShow=false&IsResetBTNShow=false&IsOpenInCodemineBTNShow=false&PanelWidth=20&PanelWidth=50&PanelWidth=30&defaultOpen={"OpenedFileName"%3A["%2Findex.html"%2C"%2Fpackage.json"%2C"%2Fsrc%2Fapp.js"]%2C"ActiveFile"%3A"%2Fsrc%2Fapp.js"}

    To better assist you, could you share a sample along with the steps to replicate the behavior you have observed, or modify the existing sample to replicate the behavior by forking it and sharing it with us? This will enable me to investigate the problem more thoroughly. And It would be helpful if you could provide a GIF or video illustrating the issue.

    I’m still in v16

    Maybe the bug is resolved in v17. I’m waiting for v17.1 to change version… I’ll test when it’s released.

    Thank you for your reply!
