Microsoft has announced the end of support for Xamarin from May 1 2024. I have a significant Xamarin projects that use ComponentOne Xamarin controls like GRID, Graph and other input controls. Will we see , for example, the Graph control in Maui edition sometime soon - or is there an alternative way to use these controls in Maui from other editions?

    Hi,

MAUI is in the initial phase. Currently, FlexGrid and Calendar are available in ComponentOne for MAUI.

We have C1TextBox and C1AutoCompleteTextBox too(C1 inputs are limited in MAUI).

For the Graph, the Development team is working on this FlexChart control which will be available in 2024v1 release in Beta version i.e., all features will not be available in the FlexChart in the Beta version. It’s in our to-do list.

FYI, 2024v1 ETA is June 2024.

Our long term plan for .NET MAUI is to support, what we call, the “Flex Family” of UI controls which includes FlexGrid, FlexChart and FlexViewer. These controls also depend on some smaller UI like input, calendar, accordion, etc.

At this time, the one missing is FlexViewer so you can expect that in the near future. We also have an assortment of .NET Standard libraries that can be used with .NET MAUI - like our FlexReport, PDF, Excel and Data Connectors. Some of these can already be used today, but we will also be growing our collection of samples that show these with MAUI apps to make it easier.
