Is there any way to set the color of the overlay text for a redaction annotation? It can be difficult to see depending upon the selected fill color.

    Hi,

Yes, you can use the RedactAnnotation.OverlayAppearance.ForeColor property to change the color of the overlay text. Please see the attached sample project for reference.

Thank you. I should have been clear, though, that I was looking to do this in JavaScript. I am looking to set the default for the editor so that my users can specify the default behavior.

    Hi,

Yes, it is possible to set a default color of the Overlay text of Redact Annotations in DsPdfViewer by using the addViewAreaStyle function exposed by DsPdfViewer.

Please refer to the attached sample that sets the color of Overlay text for all the redact annotations added by the user - DefaultRedactColor.zip

For an option to change the color of the overlay text through UI (annotation editor panel), we have raised an enhancement request to the development team and will let you know the updates soon.
